Pumpkin leaves are called 'Munta' in Nepali. The leaves are a delicacy and often well peeled and cooked with ghee and garlic.
Handcrafted in brass with 22kt gold plating
For the love of small pieces here's a pair of overtly modified version of tendrils from 'Farsi/ pharsi ko munta' (tender pumpkin shoot).
A delicacy, my Aama (grandmother) sure loved munta but what she loved the most was the soft, delicate yellow flower pakoras. We'd barely have 3/4 flowers sprouting in our garden so we'd always serve the pakoras between her and my Ba (grandfather) BUT she'd always save me a piece.
I cannot cook or eat munta without missing my aama.
